I love to run. It’s what keeps me balanced - both physically and mentally. If  you’re a runner, I’m sure you can relate.

Early in my running journey, I learned the hard way that cars and their drivers don’t always notice runners. After a few too many close calls, I decided to purchase a Shoe ID for safety from a well-known emergency ID company. It was a solid product - durable, dependable, and built with purpose.

Life changed, as it does. We moved, and my ID needed to be updated with new information. That experience made me step back and really look at how emergency IDs were being made, updated, and supported.

What I discovered wasn’t a lack of quality - it was a lack of flexibility and personal connection.

I knew I could build something just as good, if not better.

I started making an ID for myself - one that was just as durable, but easier to update, easier to replace, and more personal. Before long, family and friends asked if I could make IDs for them and their kids, too. That’s how BRECK iD was born - right out of the basement of our home.
